2002 Cougar slide out problem please help!

I had a 2003 Cougar and last summer, I had a very similar problem. It was the gears as they are both Nylon. You can find the gears and replace, or the complete motor. I bought the gears and then bought the motor assembley with gears. I put on the new motor and repaied the older motor with new gears. The total cost was about 250 bucks but after replacement it worked like a charm. It is not hard at all. I have to bring my big slide in, and did it with my fingers once I had the motor off.
