I was covering the trailer for winter and found one dime size tear in the roof and small bubble in another spot.I was given some patch material from rv store Long with tube of dicor self leveling sealant. So the roof now 15 years old and looked not bad but chalky which I assume its degrading. Is what I was told, I heard RV armor is a good product, a roll on product but I'm not sure I need that yet????this is the first rubber roof trailer we've had

I would cover the hole with Eternabond tape and then coat the roof with RV Liquid Roof material. You can see how I did mine, including pictures, here. . Please read that thread through to the last page for updates to my situation. My trailers roof should be very similar to what you have as my trailer is just about the same age.The rv roof you mentioned would be fine also but much more expensive. To do mine was in the neighborhood of $3500. I had an appointment with RV Flex Armor to get it done several years ago but cancelled it because of other problems. I suspect that the RV Armor will be similarly priced.Although a 15 years old rubber roof has lasted a long time, and has not leaked a drop during that time, it is nearing the end of its' normal life and could use some help. The various pro-installed roofs seem to start around 200-300/ft. This entails removing =everything= from the roof; vents, A/C, skylights, etc. Then the old membrane is stripped off. If no damage is found, then the new roof is put on and everything else put back. If there =is= damage found, then they install new roof sheeting. This is on top of the original cost. I looked into doing this on my old '04 Komfort in about 2015. Cost was about $7,500 for a 28-29' roof. 1 A/C, 2 skylights, 2 vents, 2 tank vents, reefer vent, luggage rack and 2 antennae, IIRC. Then, if there was any underlying damage, cost went up from there. I declined...Lyle

I agree lyle 7500 is outrageous. I will gain some insight over the winter months to see my best options, perhaps selling and getting newer unit,but that takes big dollars as well.

Hey barney I checked video of liquid roof after 3 years on you tube and it looked horrible. I suspect poor installation ect...how's yours looking and how long ago did you do it?I suspect a good 2 days of work?

I don't think very many places carry the product in stock. I ordered it online as has everybody else I know who has used it.
If you are interested in it, I would give them a call and see if they sell or ship to Canada, or if they have any distributers there.

No worries I did manage to take care of couple of concerns I had so I will be able to sleep at night...They dont seem to carry liquid roof in Canada that I can see.but of course the local rv place wnat ne yo use there products Dicor which seems very much labour intensive.

I answered your question about the hole in the first sentence of my first post on the other page. It included a link to the place to purchase the necessary repair tape.

Yes, I could put another coat on the roof but I really don't think that will be necessary.

You can see the age of my trailer in my signature. It is a 2004 - one year younger than yours.

Also one quick thing came to mind its rainy season here in British columbia Canada, I did cover the trailer but need to do two small repairs

The other spot seems far more serious
It's a bubble half rhe size and shape of a big cigar.
How should I address these folks?

My roof is holding up very well. It looks today just as it did when I last posted pictures of of it in that thread, only a tiny bit dirtier.
