I think the "R" stands for "rear" living room or maybe Kitchen-- The S3 for three slides.
My TT is a 32FKS == 32 foot Front Kitchen with Supper slide - George_HExplorerWe have an 05 Carri-Lite with a model CL32RS3, 32'11" factory rated length, 3 slides and not a clue what the R stands for. I Believe the "Carriage" models were not introduced until after 2005 and they were a lower trim level than the Carri-Lite.
We've had this unit for 11+ years with nothing but minor maintenance, and it sits outside uncovered. - TenOCNomad

What is the major difference in a CarriLite and a full Carriage? - travelnutzExplorer III think the CL is a misprint and the listing writer might be referring to CarriLite and it's the NADA Blue Book being the one who puts the "M" in front of Carriage RV's and about all other RV model they list. I've run inot it a few dozen times with different brands while researching.
I had purchased 3 new Carriage 5th wheels (1 CarriLite 5th wheel and still have it and 2 full Carriage 5th wheels) and none of any Carriage 5th wheels had an "M" before the model designation or any that I have seen.
Some older Carriage 5th wheels had a 5 or a 6 or a 7 before the model size info designation.
Example: 6RK31 was a CarriLite rear kitchen 31 foot. OR A 6RL31 would be the CarriLite rear living 31 foot. These were one single wide slide.
Carriage Cameo 5th wheels had model designations like F35TBQ F was the Cameo line, 35 for 35', TB for 2 bedrooms, Q for Quad slides (4 slides).
