Since Carriage is no longer in business, I was wondering if parts can still be purchased for the Carri-lite 5ers?
We saw a 2009 rig that we liked with the frameless dual pane windows with the seals having gone bad (the small bottom sections that crank out) so that they look frosty. Can they still be purchased to replace? And if so, how difficult is it to replace these windows? - TXicemanExplorer IIMost things in the RV were not manufactured by Carriage. They were manufactured by other companies and assembled by Carriage. The main things that you need t worry about are the end caps, wheel trim and such.
The get fiberglass parts repaired, find a good boat shop or a Corvette shop.

maybe a PM to "Gypsy Soul" - see the thread "Did it again" - check to see how serious he/she is about parting ways (and when) with their current 5th.
Soul has bit the bug for a new 5er.
~ - AllworthExplorer IIAs with most trailers, Carriage did not MAKE much of anything except the body shell. (We had a 99 Cameo as our first RV.)
Fittings (doors, windows, axles, pin boxes, etc.) and appliances (A/C, water heater, stove, furniture, etc.) are almost all made by vendors in the Elkhart area. These companies are still there and still supplying parts. The only hard part is figuring out who made what.
Titaniums are also orphans. Glendale went belly up in 2010. On the Titanium forum we have a parts source file that runs several pages of various manufacturers of parts for different models and different years. - Traveler_IIExplorerWe had to replace a small awning window on our 2011 Carriage. Bought it form Hehr and it cost $180 it was easy to replace after I found out how to do it.
The gang at http://www.carriage-lifestyle-owners.com were a great help on telling me how to replace it. - janegowestExplorerNo.
- dan-nickieExplorerSo are you still looking at the moldy smelling rig?

Carriage windows were made by Hehr. I have not had this issue on mine but many of the 2011 models had this issue for some reason. I don't know how difficult it is to replace but I do know the glass is not cheap.
If you take the window frame out, there should be a model number along the side.
You can try contacting donna.darren@hehrintl.com or (574) 935 5122 ext 610. Good luck!

In addition there are RV places that specialize in that work. I do not know of any near ANYWHERE which is where you are.
You can also change out the window and GOOGLE RV replacement windows
