My GVWR is 14990 but find it nearly impossible to fill it to weight capacity. Fully loaded with 160 gal water, 40 gal gas, 950 pounds of toys and all the clothing, food, supplies, tools and alcohol needed for a week trip I only weighed out at 12,642 at the scales.
With these huge water and fuel tanks, I usually get as far as I can with them nearly empty saving about 1500 pounds until I get close to my destination. I'm sure most folks do this.
