2007 Gearbox 260FS

Would anyone know where I might be able to pick up the rear cap (covers the upper lights) for a 2007 Gearbox 260FS? I have been searching and thought I located one but the width appears to be slightly different than mine. The Company that produces the one that is slightly larger than mine will create a mold of the cap from my trailer but it will cost $1,000.00 plus shipping. A little more than I was hoping to pay.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

  • These are plastic right?
I am assuming you want to replace it due to cracking?
Have you thought about having it plastic welded? I own a plastic welder and if the person is good at it, aside from the look of having it welded, it's good as new.
Something to think about. You may even want to try buying a low priced welder and trying it yourself.
If they could have used ****tier materials to build these things, they would have.
  • I had the same GearBox, just sold it. Mine cracked right above the right flood light. I caulked it and it lasted for a year and while I was camping in New Mexico in 2011 I had it replaced at Main Street Trailer Sales in Roswell, NM.

Call Main Street RV/ trailer sales in Roswell, they might be able to tell you where they got the part to fix mine. I want to say I paid about $900 for it installed, I remember it took about a week to get trucked in from California.
  • Can you post up a photo and dimensions? Somebody might recognize it from another RV perhaps.
