2008 Mobile Suites vs 2014 Big Country?

Big Country isn't top-of-the-line now; it's third in line behind the Landmark and Bighorn. The MS is top-of-the-line no matter what year it was built and is a much better build and should be a better buy. Consider a 5 year old Mercedes vs a new Ford. The Mercedes was a better build from the get-go and, most likely, is the still the better car. Same with MS and BC.
