I looked seriously at the 299RKS in 2011. But using an IR thermometer showed the grey color got considerably hotter outside than a white Cougar beside it. Inside temp was also elevated. Without a 50 amp option or dual pane windows I felt it was a bad choice for any hot climate. Very happy with my decision.
