2012 Columbus 325 RL vs 2014 Palomino Sabre 33 CKTS 6
Looking to buy a new to me 5'ver. I've narrowed it down to two units. Both owners are asking $25,000 with some flexibility in their price.
I'm looking for thoughts and suggestions from those that have owned either.
The 2012 is owned by a couple of "millenials" that haven't taken great care of it. It isn't trashed but when I went to look at it, it looked like they had just returned from camping over the weekend and didn't bother to clean it out, but in actuality it hasn't been used since November. It appears to have "good bones" and I think a really good cleaning would do it wonders. It has everything I'm looking for including an outdoor kitchen.
The 2014 Sabre is owned by a retired couple that have taken great care of their camper. I has been towed twice a year back and forth to a permanent site 17 miles from their house. When I went to look at it, it was spotless. It has everything I'm looking for except an outdoor kitchen.
Is the Columbus a higher quality camper than the Sabre?
What value would you place on the Sabre being 2 years newer?
What value would you place on an outdoor kitchen?
I certainly will not pay more for the Columbus than the Sabre, but how much lower does he need to go for me to consider it?
What would you consider a good/fair price on either of these?
