I'm thinking the newer DRW trucks actually sit lower than the 3500 SRW, so even though you may be towing a little nose high, it should work. You can measure the FW over hang, to ground, and then ground to bed rail of truck. The truck will squat a little when hooked up, but not a lot, with that size trailer.
I have a Dometic 9100 electric awning that works well for me. The wind is not your friend with most electric awnings, so can limit use.
