We were going to wait till closer to retirement to buy our full time rig. As it turned out a deal came up we could not refuse and bout our current unit 4 years ahead of plans. As it turned out it was a good decisions. It has allowed us to be using the unit for 4 years, learn all it's idiosyncrasies, modify it to suit our personal needs, etc.
