Would be interested in hearing from other Bay Hill owners; we just purchased a new 295RL and have several problems. Front LED docking lights don't work, bedroom reading lights did work but no longer do, auto level doesn't work properly on any surface, second gray water valve we were never told about is frozen solid can't pull it out, closet door latch magnets all fell off, easy fix but annoying when you pay big bucks for a coach.Bought in Vermont at Pete's RV Center, no out of state RV dealers will touch my warranty work and I live 300 miles from Pete's. Sounds like dealer didn't do a good job of pre delivery. Pulling for 300 miles is expensive. I know you would not want to do this but you would probably be better off paying for repairs and going on. I bought a Cameo in 2011in Colorado where we spend the summer. Found a problem on the way home and dealer in Amarillo would not fix it. Took to an independent service guy and he fixed it quickly for very little money. You can call Evergreen and discuss with them.

Notify the manufacturer IN WRITING. Ask what you should do next.

Send a copy to your State Consumer Protection Unit. (Won't hurt anything.)

While we don't have the same brand that you do, we don't have any dealers within 300 miles of us that carry our brand. When we were at the factory last summer, which was planned in conjunction with a trip in that area, we asked for and received permission for our local independent RV repair place to perform any other warranty work that we might need. The factory only specified that any warranty issues have to be discussed with them prior to having the work completed. So you might get in touch with the factory, explain your situation and see if they will authorize a local shop to perform the needed repairs.

IMO, this is the #1 thing that an RV company could to that would kill the competition. Force their selling dealers to (competent) work on =any= rig of their brand and do so in the order that they come into the service department...just as auto dealers do. THEN they'd have to back it up with quick approvals and payments to the dealer.

Don't get your hopes up...Gay-ron-tee they won't be taking it back. It just doesn't work that way. Doesn't sound like you have have any huge issues. Every trailer needs a little adjusting when you get it. If you don't want to bring it back to the dealer, check with the manufacturer and see if there is a dealer in your area that will look at it or is there an independent repair shop they will authorize to do the work. This is not uncommon.

I have a 2014 295RL and had a problem with the front ac. Called the dealer and they replaced it no problem. Only thing is I don't live but about 50 miles from the dealer I bought my from. Have not had any of the other problems you have talked about.
