I honestly don't think you can use a tape measure in a RV dealers lot and gain any useful information. How a FW sits on a leveling system, or just on front legs, when not hooked to a TV has little to do with how it will ride on a certain TV.
That is like measuring the height of a FW prior to hooking it up and calling that your tow height.
I wouldn't worry about it if your are shopping for a TV first. Get what you want. Pin boxes adjust, hitches adjust, and as a rare last resort most FW's can be raised or lowered.
