We have an ‘07 Ram 3500 4x4 6.7 Cummins. We saved $, and went “plain Jane”! My wife hated it, and told a friend so. The friend then asked, “Then why did you buy a Dodge (Ram)”? My wife’s response, “We didn’t buy a Dodge....we bought a Cummins “! This is a woman that knows her engines pretty well. Occasionally towing with a combined weight of 31,000 + pounds....we’ve never found it lacking. The new ones have much more torque! With the dramatic improvements of the Ram interiors and features......Cummins Ram, hands down! The Ford with the new(er), Ford manufactured diesel engine.....I’d put Ford into second place!
