Yea this must've been a Friday afternoon trailer, I also found last year while i was trying to fill the fresh water tank, that there was a huge High spot in the hose. Whoever was on plumbing decided instead of routing the hose to the side of the pump to keep a downward angle, they decided to route the hose OVER the pump which was directly behind and a few inches higher than the inlet.

I also had problems with the power and lights in the slide out not working, I was able to peek under the slide out and see the **** crimps for the lights and USB port and give them a good shake and it fixed it.

But those are Minor annoyances, I know from poking around the various forums things could be MUCH MUCH worse, so over all i'm still pretty happy with the trailer.

So if anyone else ever comes across this issue, I peeled away the vinyl insert to investigate. What I found really upset me, and made me very frustrated with forest river.

Under the vinyl I could see the pre drilled holes in the corner molding, about 1 every 10 inches or so, I estimate there were 10 - 12 holes from floor to roof... But there were only 4 screws used 4 crappy 1/8" screws... Basically 1 every 3 screw holes, I couldn't believe it, and 2 of them were broken. No wonder my corner molding was peeling off, they only used 1/3rd the amount of screws they should've used.

I bought some slightly heavier Tek screws and drove them in everywhere there was a pre drilled hole in the corner molding, hopefully this solves my issue. Will post pictures later.

Our alien overlords started opening things up towards the end of last week, but then the world blew up and we're grounded again (6pm bedtime).

I reached out to a mobile guy who's about 2 hours away, he's got good reviews, but haven't heard back from him yet. Unfortunately with NJ's pretty strict zero fun policy, there's not much in the way of RV dealers or Repair.

I agree with Dave, I was hoping the dealer could give you some quick free advice, but doesn't sound that will happen. A good local place or mobile would be my next call.

I doubt the dealer will go to bat for you and doubt the builder will fix it out of warranty. Plus if your dealer is like the rest, they'll sit on it for about a month before they look at it.

If you want to save yourself the 5 hours on the road, find a good local mobile tech. Those guys show up and get right to work. I have an appointment with my tech for some fixes this Thursday.

Sent the Dealer pictures but they want me to bring it in to be looked at, but they're 2.5 hours away so I don't know when i'll get around to bringing it down there, and honestly I'm not sure i want to bring it to the dealer. It's out of warranty, and I don't want them to charge me an arm and a leg to just drive some more screws in the corner moldings and throw some fresh silicone on them. If it's a major issue I still don't know if I want to pay dealer service rates to have it repaired. I guess the only reason to bring it down to the dealer would be the off chance Forest River covers the repair as a courtesy, but I seriously doubt that would happen.
