2018 Grey Wolf 27RR Corner Molding Issue

My Grey Wolf 27RR is having a problem where the rear corner molding and siding on both sides is pulling away from the rear frame it's screwed into. It's not just the silicone that's pulled away, I can see the mounting screws inside have snapped as well. I assume this is from the frame flexing during trips, but i'm concerned this is going to be a major issue if it's snapping the screws. I've only taken the trailer on about 6 trips.

I noticed the issue last year, but it was so minor I let it go. Unfortunately as you can see from the pictures it's gotten worse, I circled the broken screw in the one picture it can be seen in. I'm out of warranty, so I don't know if i just fix this by putting more screws in and resealing, or if those screws will end up breaking also.

I just reached out to the dealer and sent them pictures. We'll see how it goes.

  • I don't believe the trailer frame is bent or anything, I've never hit anything or dragged the rear. I think it's just this trailer frame is so long, and I load 2 ATV's in the back that it just flexes a bunch. I recently upgraded my truck so i can now fit one of the ATV's in the truck to take some weight out of the trailer, but i'd still like to figure this out.

What bothers me the most is that the SIDING is pulling away also, it's just just the corner molding.
  • I'd do more investigation to see if it's structural or cosmetic (angle is cosmetic)
