RV.net - laknoxNomadBeechcraft at least bought back all the Starships (except 1) when they didn't pan out. Maybe Crossroads should do the same.

I was on the web and found a dealer n IN with some 2012,2013 and 2014 units, some brand new being sold as is where is, no warranty. They must be dealer returns or units the factory had to take back.
This is exactly what they are. The Rushmore line has been a disaster for Crossroads and has hurt there reputation as a quality company. - goducks10ExplorerAgree with Hunter11 and 64thunderbolt. I couldn't feel good about the unit even after all is fixed. Way way too many issue for me. If it were happening to me you wouldn't be reading this cause they probably don't allow emailing in jail.
- Hunter11Explorer IIGiven the issues with this unit I do not think I would accept anything less than a new unit. Then again given the history of the Crossroads Rushmore line I would not want a new one either.
- 64thunderboltExplorer III would either give an atty a couple hundred to write a threatening letter. That will get their attn. If that didn't work I would spend the time in jail for assult. May be cheaper than hotel & meals.
- kglennExplorer32 days down and counting. RV Renovators have been working very hard trying to compete the remainder of repairs on our 2013 Rushmore Washington. Lippert are suppose to arrive Dec 17 to repair and reinforce our broken pin box. My Wife has flown to her sisters for a visit. She has had enough. If I'm lucky i should be home for Christmas
That's all i got - hoopersExplorer

BTW, this may sound rude, but have you considered hiring a lawyer to help you navigate this situation.
You may have been watching too many movies.
Hiring a lawyer to file a lawsuit...better have $10,000 just to get the lawyer to start the ball rolling and another $10,000 -$20,000 to take it before a judge.
Depending on the state it is filed in, each party is responsible for their own legal fees too.
Not true. Rv's fall under the Magnusum Moss Warranty Act. It's a federal law that covers rv's in all 50 states and the attorneys fees are set by law and the manufactors has to pay them and there is no money paid up front to the attorneys. I know. Because I used this law to get rid of our junk redwood.

That is not "filing a lawsuit" then.
I didn't see anything in the act that says you don't have to pay an attorney anything upfront.
Most times, the mfg'ers won't want to go to court, but will settle out of court.
The fact these rv's cost 30-50K up front...if you have to give some money up front to an attorney, to get your rv fixed, than that is the cost of getting started. Otherwise, you can live with your bomb.
Most companies will handle a letter from an attorney much different than an individual complaining to their customer service. - NJRVerExplorer

There was a dealer who had a very large inventory of Rushmores on his lot. A number of which he said would be at a bargain price because they were purchased from the manufacture to be sold "AS IS, No Warranty". He went on to tell me of this is how the manufactures move overstock end of year inventory. I had looked at and did plenty of research on the Rushmore months ago and from past owners experiances I crossed Rushmore off of my list early on.
WE did buy a new 5th wheel while in Muskegon. Not a high end unit, but the floor plan that we liked the greatest. Once we get it home we will begin to do some interior changes to make it more what we want.
