27 Foot Good for State and National Park?
Hi, Have folks found that a 26 or 27 foot 5ver is generally well accommodated at the state and national park campgrounds? Thanks, Bill

The advantage of the 27' fifth wheel is it will fit into all the places a 30' will, plus any 35' long and the rare 40' long spaces. So you will have many campsites to pick from, while a 40' DP owner can only select from a couple of them. . .
I had to have a back up plan when I went to Sequoia NP in July of 2010. I ended up parking in the very first site that looked big enough, and it barely fit. I had to rent a second site for the car we where towing. I did drive around the campground, and only found shorter sites and those already being camped in. I arrived around noon on a Friday, and spent the weekend there.
