27 Foot Good for State and National Park?

Hi,

Have folks found that a 26 or 27 foot 5ver is generally well accommodated at the state and national park campgrounds?

Thanks,
Bill

  • Thinking of a 26 ft Glacier Peak or a 27 foot Arctic Fox. I don't know of any 4 season campers that are shorter...
  • Thanks.

95+% of the time: Which length would fit fine?

For myself I was thinking the 26-27 footers would be more than enough room and easier to manage.
  • It will be fine, we get our much larger unit without problems most of the time.

  • Should be fine. When I did some checking before we bought our 5ver it seemed like 35 ft was the limit in many NP. State parks vary too much to come up with any rule on length. Lots of National Forest sites seem to be limited to shorter RV's so you may be able to get into some of them.
