When we bought our 5er we had the front AC added, because a friend who also has a 5er with 2 units told us how much more we would enjoy hot weather camping with 2 ACs. We are so glad we listened to him! During the day we usually run both units, and we put a fan in the bedroom aimed into the living area to help move the air. At night we reverse the fan placement and sometimes turn off the front unit, because the front AC is a little noisier than we prefer. Going to 50-amp service and 2 ACs really extended our summer camping season, compared to the 30-amp travel trailer with only one AC!
