3-step entry unit broken

Does anyone know the brand of the 3-step entry steps on a Flagstaff (Forest River)---and where to get a replacement "rivet" for the one that snapped in half on the top step?

Thanks,

Larry

  • Stromberg-Carlson makes a direct replacement 4-step. Did it to mine and it worked great.

  • thanks all--I'll do the bolt with a couple of fender washers for space/sliding application.

After removing the broken rivet I inserted the bolt from the outside of the step/hinge through the plastic spacer and installed a ¼ inch washer and ¼ inch lock nut on the other side. Works perfect.

  • The steps are all very much the same size.
I've never seen any replacement parts, flamingstar fixed his with a bolt, I fixed mine with a chunk of angle-stock and my welder.

  • Sorry but no. Unless someone does know I would look for Forest River online and call corporate.
