In your original post, it was a 30 amp cable. Now it is a 50 amp cable. Make sure of what you have befor plugging in anywhere or changing any plugs or making any adapters.
EDIT. Modern 4 prong appliance plugs have the necessary neutral and ground pins necessary for an RV plug-in. (The pin configuration may not be the same), but older 3 prong appliance plugs are missing the necessary neutral pin.
