I pull a 3125 Blue Ridge.. Truck does not know 5th wheel is back there. Get about 12.5 mpg if run between 60 and 63. Total weight of truck and camper is 12,300 lbs.
You mean the Blue Ridge weighs 12,300.
I'm "kinda" figuring that what he means, dry weight on his 5er is 11,279 lbs. and GVW is
13,860 lbs. Just saying if his truck "doesn't even know 12,300# or more is behind it, he's got one heck of a truck there, and probably not towing in the mountains...and at 12.5 mpg...that's doggone good. I've "touched " 12 mpg ONCE, but again, I do all my towing in the mountains, and that was running 55-62 mph...I also have a dually, so there is also another difference. but again, towing up the side of some of the mountains I tow up, loaded to 16,050#, I DO know the 5er is "back there".....
