You are correct, I have not owned a toy hauler. But I do own a sticks and bricks house. And building codes tell me the wall between my house and my garage has to have fire proof/resistant drywall on it. My personal preference/common sense tells me if I am going to live full time in what is already box that will burn up in a few minutes, my family may stand a better chance if my garage was detached from said box.
