I really did not mean to be so assinine, but I have owned 2 50 amp MH's so the difference between 30 and 50 amp did not need to be explained. I was just wondering if any 5er's had 50 amp as I had not found any. I have been advised and I do appreciate everyones post.
For the "wondering" part -
Fifty amp for trailers has been common for quite a while. (My 2005 5th has 50 amp).
IMO - (guesswork) pretty standard on 5th wheels - as well as a lot of larger TTs.
However - since you have already had 50 amp RVs - and know the advantages and disadvantages - *if* you found a 5th you really like, at a good price - 30 amp shouldn't be a deal breaker.......unless - you spend a lot of time in really hot and/or humid climates.
Having said that...... I wouldn't buy a *new* RV without 50 amp service.
