5er Brakes Squeeking

So I had repacked my bearings inspected my brakes and adjusted them and replaced the magnets since they were intermittent. After that I had a successful trip brakes worked good. Last trip though they were sqeeeking. Any ideas as to why? They also seemed to be grabbing more aggressive and I had to let off on the adjustment.
  • My truck and trailer breaks squeal after I go over a dusty road. It stops by itself or after I run through a car wash.
  • Have you got wet bolts on your spring shackles?Mine use to squeek like crazy till replaced , use to think it was a brake issue.
  • My brakes squealed and even though they still had thickness to the shoes I replaced them. Goodbye squeal. I'm thinking I may have gotten them too hot sometime and they glazed over. You could try taking your drums back off and giving the brakes a light sanding and see if that helps. Or - you could replace the brake shoes.
  • Mine squealed all the time the last few years before I sold it. Reminded me of my ex. :(
