I tow and have been for 3+ years a 9000lb 5th wheel that weighs (Oregon Scales) 9000lbs loaded with an 1800lb pin, with a 2012 Ram 2500 CTD. Tows like an absolute dream. My GVWR is 9600lbs, I'm at 9800lbs. I've added 18" tires with a 6830lb rating on the rear. I'm under GCVWR, tow rating and RAWR even with the OEM 17" tires. Rear axle weight with 5th hitched is 4900lbs+/-.
I wouldn't even think twice about hitching a 9500lb 5er up to your truck.
