Okay, so assuming I have a properly installed hitch, all weights are looking good as far as pin, 5er, available towing and axle capacity, etc., any guideline on how much of the pin weight is going to land on the front axle vs. rear axle?
I know I'm asking for unknowable answers to questions that can only be answered at the scales, after the fact. Surely, though, some experience from you guys and some good judgement on my part will lead her and me toward a reasonable idea of what we can shop for as we're comparing the pros and cons of various fifth wheels and travel trailer.
I'm just trying to get some idea of what to expect from equipment I have ZERO experience with. With good judgement and some experienced advise I'm certain I can get us home with a new RV that won't leave us staring at weigh slips and wondering how we're going to afford another new tow vehicle.
Thanks for your help.
