The Blue Ox Super Ride comes with plastic foot rails that screw on to the metal rails so that it contacts the lower part of the bed corrugations and presses on to the frame. Unlike other manufacturers, they did it from the outset.

By the way, I don't own this hitch nor have I even seen one. Just another option for the OP.
