5er hitch
Greetings. I’m about to go crazy. I have a 2019 cedar creek 38el. My tv is a 2017 ram dually with auto air level. My issue is if I get 7” on truck rail the ride is terrible, bad chucking. That’s with...

You did the right thing ordering the TS3. It will be far superior to a TrailAir Pin Box and a standard hitch in reducing chucking forces. There are two types of forces generated by a fifth wheel trailer, bouncing and chucking. As the trailer's pin pushes down it also pushes forward (chucking). Look at the side view of the Trailair pin box in the picture and visualize the bag compressing. Because of the rear mounted hinge, the pin box will actually push forward on the hitch slightly, exacerbating the chucking forces.
Look at a side view of your TS3. Due to the front, high mounted hinge, when the bags compress, the hitch slightly retracts dissipating the chucking forces. It works.
Simple test - You will soon have tried both, report back as to which is best and whether you wasted your money.
Dont be fooled by the "Since my trailer doesn't chuck, yours doesn't either" arguments.
