5er hitch

Greetings. I’m about to go crazy. I have a 2019 cedar creek 38el. My tv is a 2017 ram dually with auto air level. My issue is if I get 7” on truck rail the ride is terrible, bad chucking. That’s with the air bag with 80b’s air to put on the line. If I let air out, 40 lb’s the ride is good but I only hav 5”s of clearances. What can I do???
Please help a newbiie.
Forgot, the pinbox is a Lippert Trailair

  • I appreciate all the help. I’ll try somethings that ole biscuit and Learjet suggested. Thanks again and I wish I could edit my signature. I’m having a bad day

I feel your frustration...I'm guessing you have a 4x4? I have lowered my hitch all the way and raise the pinbox to the highest hole...still not level...but close...I do have enough clearance on my signature 5'er between the rails.
  • Lower 5vr pin box
    Raise 5th wheel hitch

    Flip axles

Go to lowest mounting holes in spring shackles

    Subframe Lift

    THOSE^^^^^ are your options
  • I think the OP needs to update profile. Proride is hitch for TT not 5er.
OP: What hitch do you have?
