I’ve found my rig to be about ideal length wise for most any camping area, state park or even race weekend when you have a 50x20 site to park your truck and unit on the site, my unit is 34’ with the rear bike rack folded or 36 with the bike on it.
Gas stations around here are mostly all your standard stations and not truck stops like most of you see stateside, i’ve Gotten used to what I can and can’t get into and use my judgement accordingly but overall this size of unit is easy to maneuver in tight situations, much better than my last 33’ tow behind.
