The SRW Ram 3500 actually sits about 1 to 1.5in lower than the 2500. Coils vs. leaves is my guess as to why. With my 15 Ram SRW my ne GD 303 is almost perfectly level with right at 7in bedrail clearance. The 2011 Crossroads OTOH was almost 3in nose high even after all adjustments such as raised pinbox to highest setting and hitch in lowest. So the newer trailers must be doing something to account for the height. Biggest difference was the GD came from the factory with subframe between axles. Both trailers have 15in wheels.
