you are a chassis mounted truck camper. there were lots of them in the lait 60's to the early 80's, and now they are making a comeback.
my cousin had one in, on man it must have been around 1980 or 81 like yours.

Typical truck campers can separate the truck from the camper. Since yours is fixed, it really is a motor home. Your RV would be classified as a Class C motorhome since it has a truck or van cutaway cab on the front.

there are frame mounted truck campers which cannot be taken off, well they can but it is a big process and only going to be done in a shop. what I always used as a decering factor was weather ou had to get out of the truck to go to the rv part, or weather you could just turn around, from the pictures I can't tell if you have access to the rv from the truck cab or not, but it sure looks like it could be aframe mounted truck camper.
