Is there some reason I am missing why more 5ers are not made to extend over the cab. Most are high enough and it seems a good spot to extend a bed into like a slide in camper.After some research I found that Titanium and Travelaire make a similar 5er. I am not sure if the image is one of those.

I believe it's called titanium. Camped by one a few years ago and it was very tall. Made by Glendale I googled it

They are nice, but the one issue I would see would be pin heavy.

The bed was about 1/2 to 3/4 in the overhang so it was about 3ft at the foot of the bed and a couple steps up to get in been 8-9 years since they were built by Glendale then one of the manufacturers here in the states bought the rights but only built them for a year or two.
