5ers with good enough frames to double tow a Jeep

Yes I've seen it. A lot of times. Spent 42+ yrs in LE and it's a fairly common stop.
Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it didn't happen. It only means you weren't on that particular piece of roadway at the exactly right time to be there when the stop was made.

You wouldn't want to get caught a second time

I'm confused, a couple of days you posted about being worried about being 3 feet too long with another setup. Why aren't you concerned about breaking laws with this setup? Not trying to start an argument, just curious.

I'll admit I've been noodling about a variety of ways of putting the rig together. I suspect the "other configuration" you're referring to would have had me 3 feet too long with no way to make it legal if I got stopped. IE: Long truck + Long trailer = screwed if stopped. This configuration, while probably longer lets me say "sorry officer", disconnect, and drive away legal...

None, it doesnt matter who makes the frame, they arent made to tow the weight of another vehicle. You should get a frame shop to strengthen the frame at the front and rear.

Kansas RV Center is the same as NuWa after they stooped manufacturing new units. I'm sure that they still have some new ones in their inventory as well as their factory reconditioned used listing. They are now in the sales and service business. Most of their latest units did have Young's frames and that company is right next door to the NuWa factory site so I'm sure if they had a trailer that you liked they could have Young's add the receiver if it already didn't have one. That was an option when we ordered ours. They don't have any dealers around the country you would have to go to Chanute.

Those look nice. I had overlooked this brand in my research. Do they have a dealer network? I look at www.nuwa.com and I'm taken to the Kansas RV Center. If that's not the manufacturer's web site, then that's pretty slick Internet advertising. If that is the manufacturer's web site then it looks like they are giving Kansas RV an exclusive.

I know that they are not as decked out as the ones on your list, but with a Work and Play you can haul the Jeep. Luxury and functionality usually don't go in the same sentence.

NuWa Hitchhiker with Youngs frame! Be sure to put 17.5" rims and tires on the trailer. Many models come OEM with a receiver hitch. They are still in business to answer your jeep towing questions. Your are going to have to watch overall length however. In Arizona we see all kinds for things behind 5th wheels including 4 down jeeps.
