I have a 4 way articulating head///pivots fore/aft and side/side
Once a year:
I pull side pins that allow fore/aft and clean/grease them...thin film of moly bearing grease
I pull large center pin that allows side/side and clean/grease it...heavier film of moly bearing grease
Twice a year:
I spray a quick shot of white lithium grease on jaw pivot points
As needed.....thin film of moly bearing grease on King pin where Jaws make contact
All year long..........plastic/nylon/teflon plate (whatever it is made of)
No grease on head surface/plates etc (then none on me or my clothes)
Once a year:
