5th adapter

I recently purchased my first 5th wheel - 2006 Forest River Cardinal 362-BH LE pulled by my 2008 Chevy Duramax 2500HD crew cab TV. This truck had the B&W 30k lbs gooseneck hitch already installed, so it was a no-brainer for me to buy the B&W companion hitch. I am very pleased with the hitch and especially like the fact that I can easily remove the entire hitch by myself. It is simple to set-up and operate and comes with great support from a good company. I would highly recommend it based on my very limited experience.

Good luck if you do end up with a 14! I LOVE my 13!

Just to correct a statement here, but there is a lot more different than gear ratio between the 2011 Ram the 2013 Ram. The 13 has a whole new frame under it, different front end, axles, etc.

I was comparing mine to a HO 11 or 12.

Never know I may end up with a 14 later this fall.

So, you feel it's OK to exceed the weight rating for your 5th wheel hitch and your truck.

But I'm a hazard with an SRW drive towing within weight ratings?

And you base your opinion on what?

I am within all ratings and specs for my truck. Believe it or not, it tows great. It handles well in challenging conditions and terrain.

But, it's OK for you to exceed the ratings for your equipment?

10,000 lbs overloaded seems to me a bad thing. Easy to understand the need for the new 2014 truck for 12v98.
