My DW and I were talking about this and the only downside we can see to buying older, meaning older than 8 or 9 years, is some RV Park\Resorts will not accept 10 year old and older RV's. We have never been turned away, even when we had a 5er that was 12 years old at the time. In all the RV's we have owned over the years, the late 90's to early 2000's were probably the best built and most comfortable. I would buy an older one, which means over 10 years old, if the price was right and it was in great condition.
