I ripped the scissor jacks off my 5th wheel a couple times. Also, snagged the spare tire once. Not sure why the manufacturer set it to ride below the bumper? Anyhow, I made my jacks removable and put some HD rollers on the back of the trailer and all has been well.
With the 5th the quickly changing rollings hills seem to be the biggest hurdle since the wheel of truck and trailer are so far apart. One is heading up the hill while the other is going down, etc. Be sure you have lots of bed rail clearance and the ass end of the trailer won't get killed if/when it drags.
