My opinion is that if you are going to get a slider, get an automatic one. A slider doesn't do you any good if you don't get out and slide it. Some of those broken windows are attributed to not sliding a hitch because it was raining or they thought that they would clear. Do it once and be done.
I've been satisfied with my Pullrite Superglide. Been using it for 9 years. Transferred it into a new truck last year and will be using it in a new trailer this year. It is a frame mount though. Pucks didn't exist when I bought it.
