I have a 14 RAM crew cab with factory prep and I use the BWRVK3600 made by B&W. I have never had a problem turning sharp.
Dan, your truck is a short bed also? What kind of trailer do you pull?
Thanks everyone, good suggestions.
I have a short bed and pull a Grand Design 5th wheel. It does have the indentations on the front part of the trailer.
"IF" the 5er he is interested in doesn't have the indentations on the front end cap, he very well may need a slider hitch..Some years back with a short bed Chevy, towing a 5er, I put a dent in the back of my cab just over the left rear window, and I HAD a slider hitch and opted not to use it that particular time...
As stated, there is no slider hitch that fits the puck system in the Ram at this time...I too have the B&W 3600 that drops right into the pucks, pricey at $1199, (check Tweedy's), they have free shipping.
My philosophy is that's it's better to have a slide hitch and never need it, than to not have one....and need it...
You could purchase the picture frame adapter and drop a slider hitch onto it.
