Get those 500 miles or so on the truck before you tow much. It is for the rear diff break in!!!! Chris
I had 578 miles on it so I should be ok. I had to adjust the kingpin to get it to ride level these new trucks sit really high in the rear.
I set my B&W to the lowest holes and I am nose high on the RV with 6" bed clearance. New RV will sit 2" higher with the MorRyde IS suspension but I think I should have had the 2" spacers installed also. - GBuildersExplorer

- GBuildersExplorerGot the hitch set up today and had my 1st tow about 4 miles and wow I love the truck and hitch even better now. Such a better towing experience then my 07 with the Aisin and B&W and the whole truck in general. Can't wait to tow again next weekend.

I put the plastic trim pieces in the bed but They don't really line up that well with the holes is yours that way? Also I haven't adjusted the two side screws on the legs yet but I can't get it to set right where all the handles close properly. I need to wait till tomorrow when I get my trailer and see if it is even set at the right hieght so I'll get it right tomorrow.
Just follow the directions they are easy to adjust. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Well my old Reese 15K was a good hitch but lots of clanking with stop and go so I'm excited about the B&W. Also we are talking about upgrading our 5th wheel when we get our boys through college if we have any money left. Installing it tomorrow can't wait to see it.
If you have a longbed place the side pcs full forward and with the straight sides to the front. This will place your pin about 2" forward of center of rear axle. - GBuildersExplorerI put the plastic trim pieces in the bed but They don't really line up that well with the holes is yours that way? - DanB-ONExplorerI have the Curt 24k hitch with the legs so that it drops right in my new Ram's factory prep package. I have nothing but good things to say about it.
- Racine96ExplorerI think Curt supplies the stuff to Mopar. I am on my second Curt with no problems.
