Not sure. You could also look into installing the GM Factory Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck Prep package? Then get a Fifth Wheel Hitch for the OEM system.
My '14 Ram didn't come with the factory prep but I was able to install it myself. The system works amazingly and it is so nice to have the truck bed totally clear when not using the hitch. I'm sure the GM and Ford factory systems work the same as the RAM system and I think they are a great option.
