I will probably buy a toy hauler around 33' - 39' that weighs less than 16,000 pounds because that is the limit of the SRW F350 truck. I am probably either looking at a Keystone fuzion, Keyston Raptor, a Spartan, or any of the Heartland models. (Not sure if you need to know that for hitch selection)
I plan on buying a 2015 F350 SRW truck (short bed). I am in sales so the truck being SRW is most important as I go in and out of downtown alot here in houston...................
You might want to check your numbers carefully - tow capacity is only half of the equation. On anything other than a DRW you will usually run out of payload capacity before you hit that max tow number.
Good advice! Too bad most won't listen.
This is my biggest fear. The GMC 3500 I'm looking at has a payload capacity of 4260. I figure I'm left with about 4k after the hitch. I think we'll be okay, because it will probably just be me, the wife and possibly the dogs in most cases, but if we have additional passengers, we won't really be able to carry much in the truck aside from maybe luggage.
