That 16000# may be the tow capacity of the F350 SRW but does it have enough payload capacity for 3200#+ of pin weight, plus hitch weight, plus occupants and "stuff" plus a tank of fuel?
You might want to check your numbers carefully - tow capacity is only half of the equation. On anything other than a DRW you will usually run out of payload capacity before you hit that max tow number.

This is my biggest fear. The GMC 3500 I'm looking at has a payload capacity of 4260. I figure I'm left with about 4k after the hitch. I think we'll be okay, because it will probably just be me, the wife and possibly the dogs in most cases, but if we have additional passengers, we won't really be able to carry much in the truck aside from maybe luggage.

Well on the ford website it shows a SRW F350 if I get the 11,000 GVWR setup I am right at 3,800 pounds of payload. Lets assume 3,600 pounds of payload.

subtract out 200 for the hitch that leaves me with 3,400 of payload.

Between my wife and I assume on the high side 480 pounds of people. Then my two dogs that weigh around 100 pounds total. Thats 580 pounds. That leaves 2,920 pounds of payload for hitch weight (I plan to put all our suitcases and bags and luggage..ect..inside the toyhauler so I dont take up much needed payload weight)

The toy haulers I really like are
Keystone Raptor 375TS: 3,095 hitch weight (puts me about 170 pounds over payload)
Keystone Fuzion 325: 2,915 hitch weight (puts me 5 pounds under limit)
Keystone Fuzion 331: 3,015 hitch weight (puts me 100 pounds over payload)
Keystone 342: 3,095 hitch weight (puts me about 170 pounds over payload)
Heartland Cyclone CY3110: Hitch weight 2,600

Out of all of them I like the keystone fuzion 331 the most because it has the bigger 11 foot garage. But that puts me 100 pounds over payload. Is this do-able or no?
