5th wheel hitch
I just had a used reese manual silder installed.My question is, there are no grease fitting on this unit. Should I disassemble the unit and grease all the pivot points?

I also have the same hitch. As they said pay attention to that spring. Also, the slide rollers. Made a trip a few years back to walt disney world went to use the slide it would not move. Had to lift camper weight off truck some hold trailer brake and give the truck some throttle. And Bang!!! One hell of a noise but it moved. Thank god. Very frustrating after driving 1100 miles and not being able to get in my site. All worked out but sure did learn a lesson the hard way. Now i grease them every time. No problems since.
Just out of curiosity does your slide make a hell of a racket when you take off and stop. Mine does and drives me crazy. I was told that is just the way it is. I don't know seems to me that reese being the company they are would have something to solve this.
