seems like a no-brand hitch. the hitch hole for ball is like almost 3" and THREADED inside. I have never seen a gooseneck like that.

I removed bedliner and it seems
gooseneck hitch installed is a no-name home brew hitch. At least its bolted to frame and not welded. I will need to remove that setup and install a new hitch.
That leaves me to me original question.. Are all 5th wheel hitches the same? (I know hitch capacity is different)
See if you can ID the gooseneck hitch and maybe the Anderson Ultimate Hitch could work for you.
Here are the hitches they say the hitch is compatible with:
Specs:
Application: industry-standard underbed gooseneck hitches - B&W, Blue Ox, CURT, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese and Valley
Moves trailer pivot point back 5-1/4"
Gross towing weight: 24,000 lbs
Vertical load limit: 4,500 lbs
Ball diameter: 2-5/16"
The Anderson does require you to make a slight modification to the 5th wheel pin box. All other hitches work pretty much the same to each other. The big differences are do you want a sliding bar for your latch pin or do you want a dual jaw latching device. The cheap hitches (sliding bar) work okay but the dual jaw hitches are much better.

I have seen those once or twice. If you can find a GN ball to fit, then you could use the Andersen, though I'd have it checked out by a decent shop that's willing to put in writing their best estimate of capacity, etc.
