Just took delivery of a Hensley BD3. It's sitting in my garage waiting for my truck to arrive. This is my first 5th wheel hitch. I got the BD3 for a couple reasons.
1. Folks who have them claim the air suspension makes for a great ride.
2. It disassembles so one person can remove it or install it by themselves.
It weighs about 155 pounds full-up. I've already disassembled it once so I could move it around my garage. Also had to get the adaptor (another 40 or so pounds) to fit the Ford fifth wheel prep package. No lightweight stuff here, unless you consider 1/2 inch steel to be lightweight.
I really like the idea of the air bag system along with the complementing shock absorbers.
