Currently we have national interstate, premiun 600.00$ plus for the tear on a 2011 keystone outback. , breakdown, comprehensive 234.00 collision 126.00 roadside package 130.00 plus a few smaller items. we pay for diminishing ded, and at the moment we have 0$ ded. does this seem high?

Well it's about twice as high as mine but then yours might be worth twice as much as mine. And your deductibles could be different, coverages could be different, etc. Its like asking what I pay for insurance on my pickup. There is a whole world of different coverages, deductibles, and vehicle values. Why don't you just use the telephone and call a few different companies and compare coverages and costs. Just make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Deductibles and $'s will vary.

I pay about $160 Yr , as a rider on my vehicle coverage. And that is on a 6 year old trailer. Obviously the replacement value of your trailer is going to affect the cost to insure.I suspect that it is always cheaper to add your RV to an existing auto plan.I never buy my roadside from my auto insurance company.

Call whoever insures your other vehicles (tow vehicle) and check the cost to have it added to that policy....usually much less expensive than a stand alone.

We're with AllState. I just checked my policy and our annual fee is $168.69. (Now we are a travel trailer, not a 5er). Breakdown:Collision: Deductible - $500. Premium: $19Comprehensive: Cash Value. Premium $149.69Contents: $5000. Premium (with Comprehensive)Towing is $5:00 premium and is paid under my car for all vehicles. $50 a tow reimbursed. Of course, I also live in Indiana, in the country and we both work from home about 75% of the time. So our driving is around 10,000 miles a year on both vehicles, and that includes most of our trips with the camper. Also, good driving discounts apply because we have everything insured with AllState (multiple policy discount).Your past driving record, the number of claims you've made in the last 5 years, and the location you live, all drive the cost. So, it's kind of hard to compare except for someone who lives on your own block. Still, my camper is very reasonable. Now, ask me about my truck!!!!! Oh my!

We had insurance with National Interstate WHEN we were FULL TIMING.National Interstate specializes in Full Timers Ins .....just like policy for S&B homeowners coverage.Ours ran $800/year.Are you FT?Is policy a FTrs coverage?
