5th wheel insurance

Currently we have national interstate, premiun 600.00$ plus for the tear on a 2011 keystone outback. , breakdown, comprehensive 234.00 collision 126.00 roadside package 130.00 plus a few smaller items. we pay for diminishing ded, and at the moment we have 0$ ded. does this seem high?

  • I pay about $160 Yr , as a rider on my vehicle coverage. And that is on a 6 year old trailer. Obviously the replacement value of your trailer is going to affect the cost to insure.

    I suspect that it is always cheaper to add your RV to an existing auto plan.

    I never buy my roadside from my auto insurance company.
  • Well it's about twice as high as mine but then yours might be worth twice as much as mine. And your deductibles could be different, coverages could be different, etc. Its like asking what I pay for insurance on my pickup. There is a whole world of different coverages, deductibles, and vehicle values. Why don't you just use the telephone and call a few different companies and compare coverages and costs. Just make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Deductibles and $'s will vary.
